Since GolfN sold out its Season 1 mint recently, there are now over 800 unique wallets holding these brand new digital collectibles. Leading Solana marketplaces like Tensor and Magic Eden are full of trading activity as collectors buy unopened packs or trade to achieve their dream collection. The GolfN Discord is also its own buzzing peer-to-peer marketplace as the community wheels and deals their holdings to fill out their sets.

The next, big step in the GolfN journey is officially live and ready for your participation. Listen up, because this is a huge opportunity to get a jump on GolfN rewards and the upcoming GOLF token announced by our partner Axiom Foundation.

Introducing Caching

Through its partnership with the Axiom Foundation, GolfN's digital collectibles are now eligible to earn points. Holders who collect any number of complete sets, from One-to-Ones to Commons, can now easily cache their sets in one click and begin earning points immediately.

These points will ultimately be eligible for GolfN rewards through the upcoming app, or Axiom's $GOLF token which will power their ambitious sporting ecosystem.

Caching is an important part of participating in the GolfN community and Axiom ecosystem. And it's not too late to complete full sets and cache them. Here's how it works:

What is caching?

A simple-but-novel concept developed by the Axiom Foundation, caching lets digital collectors register their digital assets with the app without losing any control of their assets. Think of it like "soft staking." With one click you can cache your sets and Axiom will begin tracking your activity and rewarding you with points daily.

Caching is not an on-chain transaction and does not require executing any transaction in your wallet. You can uncache your sets anytime.

GolfN collectibles are the first approved asset in Axiom's caching portal and eligible for ecosystem rewards through the upcoming GOLF token.

How to cache your GolfN sets

Have you begun collecting GolfN cards? It's easy to find out if you have a full set, or what you need to collect to complete one. Here's how:

1. visit the Axiom Foundation app at: https://app.axiomfoundation.io/
2. You'll come to the "All Sets" tab, and from here you'll be able to scroll through the five rarity classes (1 to 1, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon and Common). If you've collected a full set of a certain club or background, the cards will be highlighted along with the "cache" button. Just click the "cache" button to confirm and you'll be cached and earning points.

Keep in mind if you decide to list a club that is cached, or decide to send it to another wallet, it will be uncached and you will stop earning rewards.

Completing a GolfN set

Let's say you have two epic irons but are missing the third to complete the set. The Axiom app makes it easy to find the missing club. From the app's "All sets" tab, just click on the needed club, and there are links to listings for this specific club on Tensor or Magic Eden. If there is a listing, a floor price for this club is also displayed beneath the club. Buy the club, and moments later you can refresh Axiom and the club will be highlighted with the others and the option to cache will now be available.

Visit the Axiom app and if you have GolfN collectibles already, they will automatically appear highlighted beneath their rarity. If you've collected all the cards required to cache a set, you can simply hit "cache" and you will begin earning the assigned points for that set.

For example, if you have collected all three Epic irons, you will be able to cache and begin earning 534 points per day.

You can cache a set with as little as four Commons or Uncommons, three Epic or Rare, two Legendaries, or you may even be the lucky owner of the 1-to-1. The rarer the set, the more points you can earn through caching.

You'll notice that caching all the clubs within a rarity will earn more daily points than caching only a certain club or theme in the set. For example, caching all nine Rare cards generates 972.1 points per epoch, vs. the three-set clubs only generating 274.03. That's about 150 bonus points per epoch for caching all nine cards.

If you already have a set within a rarity cached, but want to complete the full rarity's set (for example, you have a 3-card Epic Iron set but want to cache the full 9-card Epic set for the points boost), you will need to uncache the existing three-card set, and then cache the complete set. As long as you do this during the same epoch, you won't lose any points or your level.

Axiom epochs are 24 hours and your points balance, as well as your spot on the leaderboard, will be updated at the start of the next epoch.

Levels are another unique feature of caching. Collectors who cache sets can advance a level every 30 days. But be warned uncaching cards and not re-caching before the next epoch will reset your level back to zero. Caching all of a rarity vs. attributes Collecting all the cards within a rarity.

Listing your duplicates

If you decide to list a card that is in a cached set on a marketplace, your set will be automatically uncached. But have you been opening GolfN packs and have some duplicate cards? It's easy to list them on a marketplace while keeping the other in a complete set cached.

The portal will automatically detect which card you list and keep the other in the set cached. You don't have to worry about a set being uncached because you listed the duplicate.
