Points utility in the GolfN app

Not only will you be able to earn points by equipping your rounds of golf with your collectibles, but also from engaging in the app by posting reviews of the course, organizing games, and fostering community. Referring new golfers into the ecosystem always comes with a huge points bonus.

Here's some highlights of how you can expect to use these points once the app is live: 

In-app unlocks: Use points to unlock premium in-game features like auto-shot detection and AI-powered game improvement recommendations. You can also upgrade your membership level using points.

Tournaments: Points are an entry fee into GolfN tournaments where you can compete against your fellow members for special prizes at the best courses.

Regripping: Each club has an “endurance” score based on their rarity. And once the club has been used in as many rounds as that score, it must be “regripped” in the app. The points required for regripping are proportional to the rarity of the club (the rarer the clubs, the higher the regripping costs).

Points utility in the Community

You don’t need to play golf in the app to benefit and use GolfN points. They can also be used in various ways between rounds.

Redeem for items: Redeem prizes with points from select golf items in the Pro Shop, or use them for digital art, experiences, and more.‍

Clubhouse: Use points for special events in the GolfN Clubhouse. These include a regular schedule of poker nights where you can wager points against your fellow members. Stay tuned for other interactive clubhouse features like fantasy contests so you can compete to win points and exclusive prizes in various ways.

Sweepstakes: Members can enter sweepstakes for the chance to win epic golf trips and rare and exclusive items. The more points you put into a sweepstakes, the greater your chance of winning. Moreover, those who win these sweepstakes items will be awarded them via tradeable NFTs, so they can list and trade them on marketplaces if they choose.
